Tamarindo Zip Line Tour – 9 Zip Lines & 11 Platforms

Soar through the jungle on nine exciting zip lines that weave through the forest canopy, carrying you from tree to tree high above the ground. Along the route, you’ll cross eleven platforms, some elevated among the treetops and others located at ground level, creating a fun and varied experience.

An exciting new platform highlights a massive 580-meter zip line that flies from one mountain to the next, making it the longest zipline in the region.

This adventure is about more than just thrills. As you zip through the Pacific rainforest, knowledgeable guides share insights about the local ecosystem, native wildlife, ancient towering trees, and Costa Rican culture. Keep an eye out for howler monkeys, iguanas, colorful tropical birds, and impressive old-growth trees that have been standing for hundreds of years.

Transportation is available upon request for guests staying in the Tamarindo area, making your day easy and stress-free.

After the tour, relax at base camp, featuring a welcoming café and kitchen, clean restrooms, a refreshing pool, and a peaceful garden with plenty of parking.

For safety reasons, the maximum zipline weight limit is 220 lbs (100 kg).
Zipline tours depart daily at 9:00 AM, 9:45 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:00 PM.

Located just outside Tamarindo on a private reserve, The New Monkey Jungle sits within a tropical dry forest that reflects the rich biodiversity of the Tempisque Conservation Area in Guanacaste. Here, the zip lines launch from the mountainside and glide through the treetops, allowing you to observe wildlife beneath the canopy. It’s common to see howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, lizards, armadillos, wild pigs, and with a bit of luck, small deer, along with a wide variety of native trees and plants.
